June 25: NAMI Westside Education Night resumes


Please join us to hear Kate Bunch, owner of Trauma Treatment Center, review the myriad of ways trauma impacts children’s emotional, psychological and physical well-being, as well as attachment and ability to co-regulate with caregivers.  She will introduce us to Herman’s Triphasic Model of trauma recovery and the Attachment, Regulation and Competence Framework.  Also, we will hear about the role of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EDMR) and Theraplay.

Kate Bunch is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of New Mexico.  She is also a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and Endorsed Infant Mental Health provider (IMHE-III).  She is currently working towards completing her EMDR certification and is a member of the New Mexico Association for Play Therapy and the Association to Prevent Sexual Harm by Youth.
